    Penmar Care Ltd is a supported living service providing personal care and support to older and younger adults with mental health support needs.

    On 26th November 2021 we visited the home at 4 Kavan Gardens, which at the time had 3 residents.

    The Mystery Shoppers Pharmacy evaluation project was carried out in 2015 and 2016 to evaluate the working of the pharmacies in the Hounslow borough using Mystery Shopper scenarios.

    This is a review of the services provided to patients using the Urgent Care Centre (UCC) in Hounslow based in the West Middlesex University Hospital (or WMUH). The WMUH serves a local population of around 400,000 people in the London boroughs of Hounslow and Richmond on Thames and

    Healthwatch Hounslow (HWH) undertook a review of the situation and experiences of residential carers in the local community of Hounslow in November 2016.

    This review will examines the progress that local Practices in Hounslow have been making towards achieving the Hounslow Clinical Commissioning Group’s aim to introduce proactive Care Plans for some of the more Vulnerable Adults in each of the Practices with GPs as pivotal points in the care and management of the health of these patients to help them stay out of hospital, maximise patient involvement and reduce unnecessary admissions.

    During 2017, a Healthwatch Hounslow Mystery Shopper contacted GP surgeries across Hounslow to find out how easy it would be for a homeless person or someone who was living in the Borough as a temporary resident to register with their local GP.

    One year on from the publication of our Covid-19 Report, we followed up on the recommendations from the reports. During the summer of 2021 we engaged with service providers and commissioners, to establish whether any of our report recommendations have been implemented.

    Healthwatch Ealing and Healthwatch Hounslow were commissioned by NHS England to undertake a piece of research into the Integrated Care System regarding how women with multiple long-term health conditions, including a cardiovascular condition were supported by local services.

    Healthwatch Ealing and Healthwatch Hounslow produced a Health and Care Experience profile about a woman with multiple health conditions, including recent experience of care for a cardiovascular condition.

    Over the course of four months the local Healthwatch organisations for Ealing (HWE), Hounslow (HWH) and Hammersmith & Fulham (HW H&F), engaged with local residents and health and social care professionals through a series of webinars and telephone interviews to find out about their attitudes and experiences regarding the COVID-19 vaccines.

    The aim of this work was to further understand BAME health inequalities in the borough of Hounslow. The findings of this report have led to a series of recommendations made by Healthwatch Hounslow.

    A website audit of all the GP surgeries in the London borough of Hounslow was carried out during January 2022. Evaluations were be based on a set criteria assessing how effective Hounslow GP’s websites were in providing the expected information.

    During April and May 2022, the London Borough of Hounslow asked Healthwatch Hounslow to run co-production workshops, to gather insight from residents and stakeholders to inform the design of the new health and wellbeing service.
