Enter and View: June 2021 - Bristol Court (Feltham)

We visited Bristol Court to talk to staff and residents about the care on offer. This report contains our findings and recommendations to the service after our visit.

Background for the visit:

Part of the local Healthwatch programme is to undertake ‘Enter and View’ visits, where we visit places that provide health (NHS) and Social Care services to hear what people think about them.

As part of our Enter and View programme, we conducted a visit to Bristol Court, an ‘Extra Care Housing’ service in Feltham on 22nd and 23rd June 2021 where we observed the service delivery and spoke with patients, family members and staff members.

Based on the observations and feedback, we have highlighted our findings and produced a set of recommendations which can be found in the report below.

Enter and View: October 2022 - Bristol Court Extra Care Housing (Hounslow) Revisit

Bristol Court is a purpose-built extra care housing scheme with 94 beds, where residents have their own self-contained flat and front door with personal care and support services available (depending on their care package). On 11th October 2022 we visited the housing scheme and spoke to residents, family and staff following a previous visit in July 2021.

Enter and View: July 2022 - Ashgrove Care Home (Hounslow)

Ashgrove is a purpose-built care home with 49 beds, offering accommodation for persons who require nursing or personal care, treatment for disease or injury, caring for the over 65yrs and those requiring nursing dementia care. On 20th July 2022 we visited the home and spoke to residents, family and staff.
