Once again, we are proud to be supporting West London Queer Project (WLQP) for this year's Pride, an organisation born in Hounslow but growing further afield at a rapid rate.
Volunteers Week begins this Thursday, (1 June), and this year we’re celebrating the best of the borough. Hounslow has a thriving Voluntary and Community sector, which is further bolstered by a quiet army of volunteers.
Carers Week is an annual national event that shines a spotlight on the vital contribution that unpaid carers make to their families and the wider community.
Parents and carers of children aged one to 11 who are not up to date with their vaccinations are being offered vaccinations for their children against polio and measles, mumps and rubella (MMR) through primary schools and community venues.
Hounslow’s community of unpaid carers will take centre stage in the week beginning Monday, 5 June as the borough celebrates the role they play in supporting others.
