    During 2017, a Healthwatch Hounslow Mystery Shopper contacted GP surgeries across Hounslow to find out how easy it would be for a homeless person or someone who was living in the Borough as a temporary resident to register with their local GP.

    This research project took place as a result of the Coronavirus pandemic (Covid-19) and the subsequent lockdown that took effect in England in March 2020. As a result of the Coronavirus pandemic, Public Health England have identified thenegative impact of the pandemic on BAME communities. This report looks specifically at BAME data.

    One year on from the publication of our Covid-19 Report, we followed up on the recommendations from the reports. During the summer of 2021 we engaged with service providers and commissioners, to establish whether any of our report recommendations have been implemented.

    Women and Girls Network (WGN) is a free, women-only organization that supports self-identifying women and girls in London who have experienced gender-based violence or are at risk of violence.

    Rethink Mental Illness have been given over £230k to fund projects in North West London that aid mental health or aim to prevent suicides and approximately £27k of that is set aside to spend on projects in Hounslow. Rethink welcome collaborations and multi-borough applications as well as smaller neighbourhood-based initiatives.
