Islamophobia Awareness Month is an important opportunity to show solidarity with our Muslim communities in Hounslow.
Following the far-right riots nationwide in the summer of 2024 and amid reports of rising Islamophobia in the UK, November gives us all a chance to educate ourselves about the many ways that such racial or religious bigotry, discrimination and prejudice manifests in our society.
Hounslow is one of the most diverse boroughs in London, home to people of every background, culture, faith and community. Our diversity is our greatest strength, and it makes Hounslow the vibrant, welcoming and successful place we are proud to call home.
Hounslow stands together against hatred and division.
